Summary:
Essential Functions:
- Perform a variety of helper's duties as directed, to assist in set-up, adjustment, and operation of all casting lines.
- Attend take-up end of machine. Stack materials and apply proper identification. Move material as necessary.
- Perform standardized weight and thickness on starts and during operation. Chart all checks on control charts. Make required calculations; record results, and report to operator. Operate computer as needed.
- Detect unusual conditions, defective material, or operating difficulties and report to operator or supervisor. Assist in maintaining/cleaning equipment and work areas. All other duties as assigned by supervisor. Rotate between duties as required.
