Job Purpose


We’re looking for a sharp, creative Mid-Weight Brand Strategist with 3–5 years’ experience to join our growing strategy team. You’ll help build the strategic foundations that define how brands think, behave, and connect with people — from brand positioning and purpose to narrative and experience.

You’ll uncover insights that shape how brands show up in culture, craft distinctive brand platforms, and ensure that creative and digital expressions are anchored in clear strategic thinking. Working collaboratively across creative, client, and production teams, you’ll turn complexity into clarity and insight into action.

 

Key Deliverables & Responsibilities


Brand Strategy

  • Develop brand platforms that define purpose, positioning, personality, and narrative — anchoring everything from creative thinking to digital experience.
  • Build brand architectures, values frameworks, and messaging systems that drive coherence across audiences, markets, and touchpoints.
  • Translate audience, cultural, and business insight into simple, inspiring strategies that unlock creative potential.
  • Partner with clients to articulate brand purpose, vision, and strategic direction, balancing ambition with authenticity.
  • Write strategic briefs and storytelling frameworks that inspire creative teams and ensure ideas remain grounded in strategy.

Insight & Planning

  • Conduct and synthesize quantitative and qualitative research to uncover the human truths behind brand challenges.
  • Use data, culture, and behaviour to identify opportunities for brands to differentiate and grow.
  • Create insight-led narratives that connect brand thinking to measurable impact.
  • Lead and support workshops around positioning, innovation, and audience insight generation.

Digital Brand Experience

  • Ensure brand platforms come to life across digital ecosystems — from content and social to owned channels and customer journeys.
  • Map and refine digital brand experiences that guide audiences from awareness to advocacy.
  • Champion digital thinking as an integral part of brand building, not an add-on.
  • Keep on top of emerging trends, technologies, and cultural shifts to inform modern, relevant brand strategy.

Client Engagement

  • Present strategic thinking confidently and persuasively in workshops, pitches, and client meetings.
  • Build trust through clarity, insight, and commercial understanding.
  • Support new business opportunities with sharp strategic perspectives and frameworks

 

Allocation of Time


70% paid client work, 30% new business pitching 


Skills


Must Have:

  • 3–5 years in a strategy role within a brand, creative, or marketing agency.
  • Proven experience developing brand platforms, positioning, and identity systems.
  • Strong understanding of consumer insight, cultural analysis, and storytelling.
  • Able to translate complexity into clear, actionable strategic direction.
  • Confident communicator and natural storyteller.
  • Collaborative, curious, and solutions-oriented.
  • Experience designing or evolving brand architectures or visual identity systems.
  • Skilled in tools like Brandwatch, SimilarWeb, Meta Insights, or GA4.

 

Qualifications


Educated to degree level in relevant subject area 


Other Skills & Knowledge


Nice to have:

  • Background in cultural insight, behavioural science, or semiotics.
  • Experience working on global or multi-market brand strategy.
  • Understanding of how brand strategy connects to digital ecosystems and customer journeys.
