Position Summary
The role of an Operations Test Assurance Engineer, will include technical diagnostic support, documenting diagnostic investigation details whilst driving investigations to a successful conclusion in a timely manner. The role will also have a requirement to be the conduit for technical interfacing between the operations and engineering functions on new product introduction and mature product continuous improvements.
What you will be doing:
- Fault finding electronic control products (to component level) through to root cause solution to ensure the failure mode is not repeated.
- Technical responsibility for assigned work packages to assure the electronic design meets its performance requirements through analysis and test, satisfying the appropriate airworthiness requirements.
- Complete detailed investigation documentation in accordance with Test Assurance guidelines and company procedures.
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum HND qualified or equivalent experience in electronic engineering, electronic manufacturing assembly & test.
Preferred Requirements:
- Must possess the necessary enthusiasm, drive and commitment to achieve results.
- High degree of self-management and self-motivation with ability to work on own initiative.
- Pay close attention to detail, accuracy and completeness.
- Technical knowledge of both analogue and digital circuits.
- Experience of diagnosing electronic products in harsh environmental conditions.
- Knowledge of ATE equipment is an advantage.
