Role Details

We are seeking an administrator to work within our Student Experience team.

The Student Experience team are responsible for providing front-line support to students using a caseload management approach to ensure that every individual student is recognised and appropriately supported. The team are also responsible for monitoring attendance and engagement, coordinating student-facing events and activities, and supporting course teams with student-experience related matters.

As a relatively new team and service there are several tasks that need to be reviewed and streamlined.  You will be responsible for completing the tasks that are under review and working with the Student Experience Manager to implement process changes & efficiencies, including the implementation of technological solutions.

You will also provide administrative support to the Provost and Associate Provosts, including supporting the Associate Provost Learning & Teaching with Learning & Teaching related requirements. 

To be successful, you should have strong administrative and organisational skills, along with excellent interpersonal and active listening skills.  You will be able to communicate effectively and confidently (verbally and in writing) to a range of audiences and can work under pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail.  You will have good computer skills (including proficiency in standard Microsoft applications) and can work on your own initiative to complete tasks and ensure the team runs smoothly.
