Job description:

 

WorleyCord Teamco Ltd., a subsidiary of WorleyCord Lp., is seeking:

Mobile Crane Operators

To work at our Edmonton Modular Yard in the Edmonton area

SALARY: Up to $51.65 per hour

OVERTIME: After 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week

TRAVEL: N/A

START DATE: ASAP

SCHEDULE: 6 days on, 1 days off

HOURS PER DAY: 10 hours per day

PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)

SHIFT: Dayshift

ACCOMODATIONS: Local Position

DURATION: Ongoing

WORK SCOPE: Modyard

Working Conditions:

Full-time, Temporary

Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Journeyperson Crane Operator ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
  • Zoom Boom ticket strongly preferred
  • CSTS 2020 Certification
  • WHMIS2015
  • ESC Fall Protection
  • Experience operating Hydraulic Cranes
  • Experience operating 100 & 150 ton cranes
  • Previous industrial construction experience is required

Responsibilities:

  • Operates crane and hoisting equipment to lift, move or position large objects at work sites
  • Manipulates a number of pedals and levers to rotate crane, raise and lower its boom and one or more lines. Some or all of these operations may be performed simultaneously
  • Performs pre-operational inspections, safety checks, test lifts and load chart calculations
  • Communicates with assigned crews to determine the best placement of crane for planned lifts
  • Participates in rigging procedure when required
  • May perform other duties as assigned
  • Complete all required safety documentation
  • Working outdoors
