Location: Toronto, ON
Pay Rate: $19.06/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Overtime: ESA (Overtime after 44 hours per week)
Overview
Paladin Security is hiring a Full-Time Mobile Guard for our Crosslinx project in Toronto.
This position requires a professional, observant, and safety-oriented individual capable of working independently while maintaining communication with the security team and clients. You’ll patrol multiple locations, respond to incidents, and ensure site safety while representing Paladin Security and Crosslinx with professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Remain alert and observant while standing, walking, or working outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, or cold).
- Maintain constant communication with fellow guards, dispatchers, clients, and Paladin management.
- Ensure all site staff adhere to Paladin Security policies and procedures.
- Complete thorough mobile patrols and report findings in detail.
- Submit accurate documentation to the Shift Leads, dispatchers, clients, and Paladin leadership team.
- Report any vehicle deficiencies to management immediately.
- Respond to emergencies promptly and coordinate actions based on site procedures.
- Uphold professionalism and represent Paladin Security and Crosslinx with a strong sense of integrity and service.
- Follow all federal, provincial, and municipal laws applicable to security operations.
- Be courteous and professional while enforcing company and client policies.
- Communicate site concerns and safety issues to supervisors or the client service manager.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Security Leadership team.
Requirements
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
- Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C (WSIB-approved) certification
- Two (2) doses of COVID-19 vaccination
- Valid G Class Driver’s License with the last 3 years of clean driver’s abstract
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
- Previous experience in mobile security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
