Heidelberg Materials is seeking a knowledgeable and driven Technical Specialist to support the delivery of high-quality, compliant concrete solutions across a defined geographical region. This role is central to our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

About the Role

As a Technical Specialist, you’ll ensure our concrete products meet specification requirements, offer alternatives where needed, and support the development of value-added and branded products. You’ll work closely with sales, operations, and customers to promote low-carbon concretes and enhance our commercial offering.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the regional Technical Strategy and Market Plans
• Ensuring compliance with British and European standards, QSRMC regulations, and internal quality systems
• Managing material costs and driving product quality and innovation
• Investigating and resolving customer quality complaints
• Delivering technical training to internal teams and customers
• Promoting the growth of value-added products and services

What We’re Looking For

• Strong technical knowledge of concrete, cement, aggregates, and construction materials
• Experience in technical sales or customer-facing technical roles
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver high-quality support
• Analytical mindset with a focus on cost-effective manufacturing
• Commitment to Health & Safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
