What You Can Expect:
- Receive boarding instructions via email, telephone or through the commercial team.
- Coordinate the collection and loading of goods.
- Coordinate with the National Department, Distribution, TIR and / or warehouse the arrival of the merchandise to our facilities if necessary.
- Check the quote made by the sales team.
- Make the booking with the shipping company.
- Prepare and/or review the BL (House and Master).
- Prepare documentation for customs clearance.
- Prepare special documentation depending on the type of merchandise to be exported (IMO, ADR, certificate of origin, etc.).
- Receive the customs documentation from the Customs Department (release) and send it to the shipping company to proceed with the shipment of the merchandise.
- Send the BL, the confirmation of embarkation and departure of the ship to the client and / or agent at destination along with all the necessary documentation to receive the merchandise.
- Enter cost forecasts in the system and send instructions to the Billing department.
- Apply the procedures and controls assigned in terms of Compliance
What You Bring:
- CFGS in International Trade, Transport and Logistics or related.
- Minimum experience of 3 years in freight forwarding.
- Ability to balance operational priorities with business imperatives.
- Knowledge and courses related to ADR, IATA, IMDG.
- Outgoing personality and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
- Ability to communicate well in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to listen carefully to the customer and understand customer requirements.
- Ability to respond to the customer with a winning service offering.
