Job Description:

Job Title BI Project Manager

Scope of this professional role is:

Own the end-to-end delivery of LOC BI initiatives from initiation through closure, with operating company-specific milestones, budgets, and resource plans.

- establishes and implement projects, programs, and processes in support of the organization's overall Data Analytics & Computational Sciences & Go to Market & Customers Segmentation strategies.

- Applies advanced knowledge of the Business Intelligence field to establish best of class policies, procedures, and plans for the area.
- Assists with developing plans to measure key performance indicators for the BI function.
- Integrates methods based on analyses of trends and the competitive landscape to continually improve the organization's commercial strategy.
- Leads implementation of the programs and innovative initiatives for the organization to advance Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives.
- Contributes to projects, programs, or processes for the BI area as well as for commercial function.
- Evaluates and recommends new vendors, tools, and systems for the BI function.

- Acts as a sparring partner for Senior Leaders across the organization with regards to Business Intelligence functional insights / recommendations

- Helps finding growth opportunities by constant revisiting G2M strategies linked to Key business questions across portfolio

- Lead cross-functional teams including data engineers, BI developers, data stewards, and business analysts across different identified BI projects

- Translate local business needs into scalable BI solutions focusing on local dashboards, self-service analytics, and embedded insights for site-level decision-making.

-Ensure local dashboards/reports align with the enterprise data model, semantic layer, and data governance standards while accommodating local nuances

Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Biostatistics, Life Sciences, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or PhD) preferred.

• Experience: 8+ years in BI/Analytics with a proven track record delivering complex BI programs in life sciences or healthcare; 4+ years in a leadership/PM role.

• Proficient in English; German is a plus.

Soft Skills required:

Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, influence without authority, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership; ability to translate technical concepts into business language. Strong ability to partner and influence across different levels of the organization.
