Mechanical Maintenance Planner

Dryden Fibre Canada is currently seeking an individual to become part of our maintenance team.

Reporting to the Assistant Maintenance & Engineering Manager, your role will be to plan, and co-ordinate mechanical maintenance activities related to rotating and other equipment within the mill.

More specifically, you will have to:

• Ensure that job plans, equipment, material, and specs required are readily available and that the various trades are properly coordinated, as they relate to the work order systems.
• Help schedule work in consultation with the operating and area supervisors. 
• Set up of new assets and files as they relate to mill mechanical equipment.
• Manage mechanical repair material inventory and asset bill of materials.
• Plan and schedule work orders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong mechanical background.
• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
• Self-Motivated.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Financial aptitude.
• Computer skills.
• A safety-oriented mindset with the desire to apply and follow mill safety and environmental policies and procedures.
