Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Alpharetta, GA is $104,998.00 – $120,900.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Support sourcing decisions and conducting audits. Evaluate suppliers by conducting product and process audits at supplier sites by assessing the suitability of potential suppliers. Provide risk analysis and mitigation plans. Review engineering requirements with suppliers to ensure technical requirements are understood. Interface with engineering to help clarify requirements when needed. Ensure engineering deviations and substitutions are approved. Define and communicate qualification requirements to suppliers. Verify documentation, critical dimensions, and other characteristics of welded containers at supplier’s location. Select inspection tools, sampling plans, and methods. Run KPI reporting, data analyses, investigations, evaluations, corrective action, and development plans. Review the control and disposition of nonconforming product received from suppliers. Review evaluations, segregation, supplier communication, corrective actions, and oversee the prompt cross functional disposition of rejected parts to minimize impact to production.

Position requires experience in the following:
1. Reading and understanding mechanical drawings
2. Evaluating quality inspection methods and techniques
3. Utilizing calipers, micrometers, and quality measurement tools to determine the appropriate measurement technique
4. Performing quality system audits.
5. Metal fabrication processes.
6. Utilizing quality management systems and standards.
30% Domestic and 20% International Travel Required.
