Minimum 5 years working within the automotive industry in either accounting or finance

 

 

Related Experience/Specialized Knowledge:

Strong understanding of business case models and financial KPIs associated with program tracking

Understanding of financial statements -Income Statement, Balance sheet, cash flow statemetns

Understanding of accounting processes & procedures related to capital equipment and tooling

Preferred knowledge of manufacturing assembly and injection molding processes

 

Additional Skills:

Strong communication, organizational, and excel skills are required. Accounting experience is required. Exposure to program management launch teams in the automotive industry is a plus.  Financial sytems exposure - SAP / HFM is a plus

This position is responsible for the financial management of programs that are in the pre-production (launch) phase at OP Modules Americas.  The financial oversight responsibility is full scope including management of program profit/loss and cash flow statements, as well as, the associated accounting, tracking, reporting of capital expedntirues, prototypes,  and tooling.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Reponsible for controlling all aspects of the launch program financials including – managing updates of the selling prices, material, labor, overhead costs, capital equipment and tooling spends. Responsibilty includes establishing the budgetary information and tracking actuals against the budget and providing the variance explanations to mgmt

Develop high level skillset and understanding of the PLC (Product Life Cycle) system that is used for tracking launch program financials.  This position will also be responsible for training other end-users such as Program Managers
