Your Opportunity

As a Lead Generation Specialist for our Surgery Product Line, you will focus on developing, planning, and executing lead generation for Siemens medical imaging products with a focus on surgical mobile C-arms. You will work with Account Executives to move qualified leads through the sales process, connecting with key contacts at hospitals, outpatient imaging centers and clinics in your assigned territory. You will strategize and sell in a team environment, all while having the support of friendly administrative staff who are ready to help at every step along the way.


This is an excellent entry-level sales opportunity for an individual who is highly competitive, works well in a team-selling environment, and is ready to demonstrate they have what it takes to win. This position has a base salary plus commission.

 

Hybrid refers to a flexible work model where you work in your home office 10% of the time and travel to customer sites 90% of the time.  TRAVEL SITES: Upstate, NY. 


Responsibilities

  • Identify and contact dormant or unengaged leads through cold calling, emailing and field visits.
  • Personalize outreach to increase engagement.
  • Reintroduce Delta Medical Systems’ products and services to former or inactive accounts.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria. Hand off qualified leads to senior sales staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, lead status, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to prioritize target accounts and refine outreach strategies.
  • Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.
  • Participate in available training and development to build sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Comply with and adhere to all customer site requirements, which may include certain vaccinations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable initiating contact with unfamiliar prospects.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work independently.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn sales fundamentals.
  • Ability to document interactions and follow up consistently.
  • Prior sales experience a plus.

Physical Demands 

  • Mobility: Ability to travel frequently, including driving to various locations. This involves walking through client sites.
  • Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting while driving, flying, or working at a desk in the home office.
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computers, phones, and other office equipment. Handling sales materials and product samples.
  • Visual Acuity: Continuous use of vision to read documents and computer screens.
  • Hearing: Ability to hear and understand conversations over the phone and in-person. Effective listening skills for client interactions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for phone conversations and in-person visits.
  • Lifting: Occasionally lifting and carrying light to moderately heavy objects, such as product samples, promotional materials (typically up to 25 pounds).
