Hourly Wage: Starting at $28.68/hr.

Shift Premium: 15% for 2nd shift

We are currently seeking a Experienced Manufacturing Team Lead Utility Operator to join our team.

Job Summary Experienced Manufacturing Team Lead

As an Experienced Manufacturing Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes operating and setting up various CNC and non-CNC production machinery, conducting manual assembly tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties Team Lead

• Lead and support Operators-Serve as a technical resource and team leader, providing guidance and support to machine operators.
• Train and Develop Team Members- partner with the VSM to train and mentor less experienced operators, fostering growth and skill development.
• Ensure Quality and Safety Standards: Complete work order documentation, inspect tools for safety, and uphold high standard for quality, efficiency and productivity.
• Promote Company culture and continuous improvement: model ethical behavior aligned with The Gund Company's values and suggest improvements to enhance production and order processing

Requirements

• A technical degree and 5+ years of experience preferred, or a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Intermediate math skills & aptitude.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand drawing and blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring instruments accurately and effectively.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.  Must be fluent in both English & Spanish

Work Environment Team Lead

• This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and chemicals.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
• This position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform manual tasks as required.
