The Communications Assistant is a supportive role within the Communications Center whose responsibilities include answering incoming phone calls, inputting data entry for follow‐up and quality assurance, and clerical tasks involving, but not limited to, maintaining the front-end accounts receivable records for Kettering Transportation Services.
Job Responsibilities:Job Specific Duties:
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Enter calls for service into the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.
- Work in conjunction with the billing office to insure proper patient billing information.
- Assist with submitting PCS and BA forms.
- Confirms insurance coverage on appropriate portals for the insurance providers.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly statistical reporting.
- General understanding of Zoll, preferred.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations, as well as sensitive company and employee information.
