Temporary Equipment Operator bei Summit County

Summit County is seeking dedicated and skilled Temporary Equipment Operators to join our Public Works team for the winter season. This position will work up to 40 hours per week from November through April. As an Equipment Operator, you will play a key role in the construction, maintenance, and repair of county roads and related systems. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or maintenance setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for equipment operation.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
