Content Creator
Reports To: Creative Arts Pastor
Status: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Location: Mission Church – Gilbert, AZ

The Content Creator is a full-time member of Mission Church’s Creative Team who helps tell the story of what God is doing in and through our church. This role brings creativity, energy, and excellence to video, photography, and storytelling projects across all ministries. As part of the Creative Team, this person will collaborate on visual storytelling, digital strategy, and content creation that supports Mission’s vision of helping people find and follow Christ.

Key Responsibilities
1. Video Production – Capture and edit engaging content including short-form reels, highlight videos, promos, testimonies, and recap pieces for ministry areas, weekends, and events.
2. Photography – Capture high-quality photos that showcase the life of the church and help build Mission’s visual library.
3. Content Development – Partner with the Communications Manager and Creative Team to plan and produce creative assets that align with Mission’s brand, culture, and vision.
4. Event Coverage – Attend and capture key church events, gatherings, and holiday services to tell stories of life change and community.
5. Creative Collaboration – Work closely with other Content Creators, Designers, and ministry leaders to ensure consistent storytelling and visual alignment across all platforms.

Ideal Candidate
Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in video production, photography, or creative content creation (church, agency, or freelance).
- Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
Skills:
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, and Photoshop (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of digital storytelling and creative strategy.
- Excellent eye for composition, pacing, and brand consistency.
- Flexible and collaborative team player with a heart for the local church.

Available for evening/weekend coverage as needed.
