Integrate single-cell/spatial multi-omics with experimental validation in human/mouse intestinal organoids and co-culture systems.
Key Responsibilities & Activities
Process patient biopsies/PBMCs, generate single-cell datasets (scRNA/CITE-seq), and identify testable pathways.
Validate targets in tissue using immunofluorescence/spatial transcriptomics and in vitro using organoid-immune and organoid-stromal co-cultures.
Perform CRISPR-Cas9 perturbations and functional epithelial assays (barrier integrity, viability, cytokine readouts), and imaging/flow cytometry.
Maintain rigorous records, QC, and SOP adherence for human biospecimens.
Analyze/interpret data with basic scripting skills (R/Python) and collaborate closely with computational partners.
Write manuscripts, prepare figures, and present at lab/departmental meetings and national/international conferences
Help mentor students/technicians.

Qualifications
PhD in Immunology, Molecular/Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, Developmental Biology, Genetics/Genomics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or closely related field.
Substantial wet-lab experience: sterile cell culture, flow cytometry, mouse models of disease.
Strong communication skills and at least one 1 peer-reviewed publication.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with intestinal organoids
Hands-on CRISPR editing/perturbation screens, including assay development and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with single-cell/spatial pipelines and basic informatics (R or Python).
