Responsibilities:

  • Manages District Website

  • Manages District ParentSquare communication system

  • Manages any social media accounts for the district

  • Communicates regularly with District Administrators, School Administrators, and office staff.

  • Provides Training and Support for ParentSquare

  • Communicates issues and tickets with ParentSquare support

  • Ensures that the website content is current, accurate, and aligned with accessibility and translation standards. 

  • Coordinates with school sites, district departments, and administrative staff to post timely updates and announcements.

  • Makes regular content updates to ensure the website reflects current events, policies, and information.

  • Ensures all web content meets accessibility requirements (ADA compliance) and supports multilingual translation tools.

  • Provides support or guidance to staff regarding web content submission and best practices.

  • Communicates with the website hosting provider to ensure the site is functioning properly and resolving any technical issues as needed.

Dates:

Approximately November 25 through February 2, 2025

 

Compensation:

$125 per day until the teacher comes off the salary schedule and then in accordance with the Burlington Educators' Association Unit A contract.
