Painter/Maintenance bei Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a skilled Painter/Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the maintenance and visual appeal of our resort. This role involves painting interior and exterior surfaces while ensuring a high standard of workmanship and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, efficiency, and a commitment to enhancing our property for guests and owners.

Painter/Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing work areas prior to painting projects
• Applying finishes such as primers, sealers, and topcoats to various surfaces
• Cleaning, taping, and protecting surrounding areas of job sites
• Removing existing paint or coatings as necessary
• Mixing paints or oils to achieve specified colors and consistencies
• Transporting materials and tools around job sites as assigned
• Performing cleanup duties and maintaining a tidy work area
• Repairing, sanding, and finishing drywall surfaces
• Installing, patching, and replacing drywall as needed
• Performing various maintenance tasks as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

What are we looking for?

• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays
• Prior work experience as a painter; 1+ year of experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with painting tools and equipment 

• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures

• Familiarity with safety guidelines and ability to read labels and warnings

• Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
• Responsibility, reliability, and honesty
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors
