What You’ll Do:

  • Proactively make outbound phone calls to both potential and existing borrowers who have inquired about a mortgage purchase or refinance via the internet and other sources.

  • Complete a financial analysis and assess individual needs of each customer.

  • Research mortgage guidelines and structure loan options for customers based on their financial and personal needs.

  • Present customers with mortgage options; provide guidance to ensure the customer is able to make an informed decision.

  • Assist customers in completing a mortgage application.

  • Obtain required documentation from customers in a timely fashion in order to submit their loan application for processing.

  • Monitor status of the loan application and follow up with customer as needed to obtain additional documentation and provide status updates.

  • Effectively work with internal departments to ensure the loan is processed, underwritten, and closed in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Manage day to day transactions and relationships with customers and vendors.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.

  • Possess experience within a call center environment and be able to communicate with confidence and poise.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (both written and oral), and telephone etiquette skills.

  • Exceptional aptitude for math and financial analysis.

  • Sales experience preferred.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

  • Must be a self starter, motivated and energetic.

  • Must have strong time management skills with the ability to determine priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrate integrity, ethics, accountability, responsibility, initiative and teamwork.

  • Ability to work independently and take direction.

  • Must possess a working knowledge of computers to include MS Word, Excel and Internet.

  • Must meet all NMLS requirements.

Compensation:

The minimum estimated hourly rate for this role is $15.00, along with eligibility to earn monthly commissions. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
