Vice President of Marketing bei JBSS Inc.

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing operations and drive profitable growth across our private label and branded product lines. This executive role is pivotal in aligning marketing initiatives with company-wide goals, with a primary focus on expanding our private label business and a secondary focus on brand development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive profitable sales of private label and branded products.
• Manage and optimize P&Ls for private label customers, ensuring target margins are consistently achieved.
• Streamline marketing operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct market analysis and oversee category insights to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Collaborate closely with Sales to manage pricing strategies, bids, and customer proposals.
• Partner with Product Development to align marketing strategies with new product launches and innovations.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, preferably in the consumer packaged goods or industrial marketplace, with a focus on the nut or snack industry.
• Proven experience managing private label marketing and leading corporate marketing functions.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong strategic marketing and brand management capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, planning, and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with Sales and Product Development teams.
