Pay Rate: $20.25 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

Essential Job Functions:

1. Responsible for moving the correct trailers (by chicken house number) as directed by supervisor.  Using diesel vehicle, pulls trailers full of live chickens from the “holding” area to the “processing” area
2. Using diesel vehicle, removes empty trailers form the “processing” area back to the “holding” area
3. Places empty trailers near Offal waste drain to be used for drain waste (i.e., guts, feather, etc.) storage and once full is removed and replaced with an empty trailer

REQUIREMENTS

• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to operate diesel yard goat tractor in a safe manner
• Must be able to work in hot, dusty environment
• Alternate sitting, standing, walking for   8-10 hours.  Repetitive foot and motions, bending and forceful pulling motion required
