Czarnowski is one of the four studios of the Czarnowski Collective. The Purpose:
Seamstresses are responsible for the completion of all fabrics within the department on strict timelines as well as, maintaining specified SOP and quality completion of every item. They will work closely with the Department Manager, Account Managers, Project Managers, and Shop Leads to ensure the successful completion of all assigned projects. In addition to this job description, this position is responsible for operating within Czarnowski standard operating procedures.
The Seamstress Role:
- Communicate daily with the Department Manager regarding job assignments, progress, and completion.
- Gather and review all necessary information to ensure accuracy and completeness for each project.
- Collaborate with team members to address questions and provide updates on frame location, due dates, and progress.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform high-quality sewing to meet specified finishes and sizes.
- Track and resolve missing information or items throughout the job process to ensure completed orders include all requested components.
- Adhere to department quality control standards to ensure only the best products are shipped.
- Able to lift up to 25lbs.
- Able to accurately use a tape measure, cutting blades, scissors and other tools as is customary for a seamstress.
- Able and willing to use a ladder up to 14 feet.
- Able to work in a scissor lift.
- Experience with industrial sewing machine is preferred
- 1 – 2 years of experience preferred.

- Flexibility to work overtime or adjust hours as needed. Including nights and weekends.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus under pressure.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and techniques and items throughout job to assure closed job includes all ordered items.
