Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, board-certified or board-eligible FamilyMedicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, outpatient position providing primary care to patients of all ages in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based primary care services.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions, preventive health, and wellness screenings.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists and support services.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in team-based quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active or eligible medical license in the District of Columbia.
• Current DEA registration.
• Commitment to serving medically underserved populations.

HRSA Loan Repayment Opportunity

Unity Healthcare sites in Washington, DC are located in HealthProfessional Shortage Areas (HPSA) and are eligible for the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA)Loan Repayment Program. Eligible physicians may qualify for up to $50,000 in student loan repayment for a two-year full-time service commitment, with the possibility of additional repayment for extended service.
