Precision Healthcare Specialists is seeking a warm, professional, and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our Magnolia Breast Center team. As the first point of contact for patients, this role is vital in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while managing patient check-ins, scheduling, and administrative tasks that help our clinical team deliver outstanding care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly, professional manner.
- Verify insurance information, update demographics, and collect co-pays and required documentation.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments for imaging and consultations.
- Answer and route phone calls promptly, assisting patients with questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with the clinical and nurse navigation team to ensure a smooth patient experience.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Assist with scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate records within the EMR system.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and welcoming.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of medical front office or healthcare administrative experience (experience in women’s health or imaging a plus).
- Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of insurance verification, scheduling systems, and EMR software.
