Wood in Reading are seeking offers of interest for Project Interface Manager as part of the integrated project management team to join us on a 12 month contract basis. This role will be based in our Green Park offices in Reading with some travel to Saudi Arabia. Attendance in the office is required for this role.

Responsibilities
- Part of the integrated project management team, which includes members of the client and Wood.
- Leads the interface management team.
- Instrumental in the development and co-ordination of the Interface Plan and Strategy for this giga-project.
- Accountable for implementation and maintenance of the Project Interface Management processes and tools.
- Follow up and support of Master Interface Register and Schedule contained within Interface Management, with focus on maintaining the accuracy of the Master Interface Register.
- Support all Contractors, Proponents and Stakeholders in the successful coordination of Interface points and interface queries.
- Monitor, advise and ensure report on progress of Interface queries and interface points are produced on a regular basis.
- Develop project performance management interface reports, and support Generation of monthly status report on Interface Management.
- Supports individual Interface Single Point Of Contacts (SPOCs)
- Ensure that individual stakeholder interface responsibilities are clear and understood during the lifecycle of the project.
- Supports stakeholders in identification of technical interface issues identified in interface meetings.
- Communicates clearly in a professional and appropriate manner with all Stakeholders at all levels (including executive and senior executive level).
- Attendance at Interface meetings at various global locations, including Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering .
- Prior background in project engineering or engineering management.
- Experience of working in complex, large multi-billion, multiple EPC type projects from preFEED through to EPC and commissioning.
- Experience in an appropriate industry (ideally in one or more of Oil & Gas, LNG & GTL, Refining, Petrochemicals, Chemicals).
- Be commercially astute and understand the different approaches required to managing lump sum and reimbursable work.
- Have a broad technical knowledge.
- Multi-cultural awareness.
- Experience of working in the Middle East.
- An understanding of Royal Commission requirements is preferable.
