The Role:
As a Corporate Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving profitable growth within our Industrial and Commercial division. Your success will come from building meaningful client relationships, developing tailored solutions that showcase The Biffa Model, and delivering exceptional value through innovative waste management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to tenders and RFI/RFPs promptly and professionally, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete handovers.
  • Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline valued between £15–20 million, with individual contract opportunities averaging around £500k.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience selling contracted services valued at £500k+ per annum.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of tendering processes.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage at all business levels.
  • Knowledge of the waste management industry or relevant legislation is advantageous, but not essential.
