 Analyst - Global Financial Systems

Location: London or Leeds, Full Time  

We’re looking for a dynamic and people-focused Analyst to join our Global Finance Systems team and play a key role in shaping our QBE finance transformation journey using agile methodologies. If you're passionate about data, collaboration and driving change, this is your opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring our systems and processes are aligned with business needs and make a real impact. 

 

Please note this is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, working in a Hybrid environment. 

 

 

Your New Role 

As part of a collaborative Global Finance Systems team, you’ll be the trusted support behind the scenes, gathering and validating critical data, preparing for key meetings and working closely with stakeholders across Finance and IT. Your insights will empower decision-makers and help deliver strategic initiatives with impact, confidence and clarity. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Be the bridge between Finance and IT and act as a trusted liaison to support system incidents, enhancements and innovative solutions  

  • Drive meeting readiness by proactively sourcing and validating data from key stakeholders, to ensure decision-makers are equipped with accurate insights 

  • Collaborate with process owners to gather requirements and implement enhancements that elevate business capabilities 

  • Leverage agile tools and use platforms like ServiceNow and Jira to track progress, manage tasks and maintain visibility across dynamic workstreams 

  • Contribute to day-to-day system operations while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and reporting.  

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate across departments to champion data-driven decision making 

 

About You 

  • Fully qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or qualified by equivalent career experience 

  • A solid understanding of financial systems and processes 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, influence and build trust with stakeholders across Finance, IT and beyond 

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion is highly desirable, alongside comfort navigating platforms like ServiceNow, Jira and other finance systems  

  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and an understanding of how finance processes integrate with technology to drive transformation 

  • A proactive self-starter who takes initiative, owns tasks end-to-end and maintains a sharp eye for accuracy and quality 

  • Thrives in cross-functional environments, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
