About the role

The Program Office leader for President Global ops and India CMD, partners with the global heads of various Commercial, Delivery, Operations and Enablement functions, India Leadership Council and India Center Heads to drive implementation of Programs that helps drive efficiencies and improve competitive advantage. In addition, the role interfaces with our government affairs teams, Media teams and partners, Academia to develop and deliver key outcomes for Cognizant India and the employer brand. This critical, trusted leadership role serves as the strategic right-hand person to the India CMD and is a full-time assignment requiring a strong commitment to mission in a highly matrixed and complex global Fortune 200 organization.

In this role, you will:

·       Works with the President Global Operations on initiatives of strategic importance both regional and global from development through successful execution

·       Partners with the India Leadership Council, center heads and functions heads to design and execute key initiatives and interventions that align with India priorities and employer brand

·       Work closely with Employer Branding and marketing teams in the development of strategies and implementation of the same

·       Cognizant representative who facilitates communication and collaboration between Govt affairs , Nasscom and the India CMDs office on specific projects or initiatives, ensuring alignment and effective partnership management

·       Partners with support functions  and engages in constructive brainstorming and other problem-solving forums with function heads - Central Ops, Talent Supply chain, Recruitment, Delivery excellence and colleagues across the enterprise to deliver solutions and drive higher efficiency

What you need to have to be considered

• 20+ years professional experience preferably working with large SI
• Experience of being part of managing large businesses and executing large initiatives
• Evidence of strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrable ability to lead productive collaborative meetings with senior-level executives
• Evidence of having familiarity with operational model/data of IT business
• Strong in communication and driving initiatives.
