About this Position

The Senior Officer – Quality is responsible for performing tests, inspections, measurements, and chemical analyses of adhesives, sealants, and preformed parts to ensure they meet defined product requirements. The role involves documenting findings, supporting root cause investigations, and ensuring continuous improvement in product quality and compliance.

What you´ll do

  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections per established procedures and release of material in SAP & release of Certificate of Analysis, PDI, product audit, documentation.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control Supervisor and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and enhance workflows.
  • Perform routine, surveillance, and non-routine tests on products and materials, report deviations and non-conformities.
  • Record, analyze, and maintain test data using SAP-QM, support SOP updates and data integrity.
  • Assist with quality equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and lab inventory management.
  • Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards; contribute to 5S and lab KPI goals.
  • Operate and maintain testing equipment, utilizing digital tools for efficient data capture and reporting.
  • Well versed with the use of measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, multimeters, viscometers, UTM, hardness tester, Oven, furnace, moisture analyzer, titrator etc. for verification.
  • Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Chemistry with minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality  Assurance preferably in Adhesive, Sealants, Specialty Chemicals, Automotive industry, general industry, auto   component industry.
  • Must have an understanding of the chemical analysis, process, sophisticated analytical instruments, IMS/IATF standard, SAP.
  • Familiarity with basic chemical testing lab equipment.
  • Good lab & documentation practice
  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections per established procedures.
  • Collaborate with QC Supervisor and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and enhance workflows. .
