MBOS_Infotainment: HW Operation Engineer for MTTF bei Mercedes-Benz Group AG / Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up test benches with different ECUs like Headunit, IDC6, CEIC, CIVIC, Display, Instrument Cluster, Tele Communication Unit, GPSGSM Antenna etc.
• Based on user request provide custom configured test bench setup.
• Flashing of latest SW in all the ECUs connected with the test bench followed by variant coding using DTS Monaco.
• Troubleshoot all the hardware issues and manually recover them if required
• Maintain the health of the ECUs and make sure the test benches and corresponding services are up and running without any significant down time.
• Collaborate with developers, testers and automation engineers for seamless integration and maintenance of Test Benches

Mandatory Skills:

• Excellent in setting up various hardware or ECUs as part of HiL or Test Bench
• Experience in software flashing of various ECUs and variant coding
• Excellent in troubleshooting the hardware issues and finding solutions
• Experience with devices like Vector, K2L, Power supply matrix etc. used in automotive testing.
• Knowledge on automotive tools like Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, DTS Monaco etc.
• Experience of Windows systems
• Good communication skills

• Experience of Windows and Linux systems
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols like CAN, Flexray, MOST, Ethernet diagnostics UDP, UDS ISO-14229 etc.

Qualifications

Master’s / bachelor’s degree in computer science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering or in a relevant stream.

1-5 years of experience in Embedded systems software /Infotainment testing and documentation

Preferred Skills

·       German language skills are highly desirable.

·       Excellent communication & Coordination skills

·       Exposure to multi-cultural environment, working experience would be added advantage.

·       Possess a valid driving license for cars.

·       Use of Tools: MS Office, Project planning tools and Databases

·       Know how on internal system integration tools will be advantage.
