Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to a team of Lease Analysts, fostering a high-performance, detail-oriented, and collaborative work environment.

  • Manage the team's workload, prioritize assignments, and allocate resources effectively to meet global deadlines and service-level agreements (SLAs).

  • Own the onboarding and training of new team members and actively participate in the development and career progression of junior analysts.

  • Serve as the escalation point for complex lease abstraction and data management issues, providing expert resolution and direction.

  • Lead the abstraction and detailed analysis of the most complex, high-value lease agreements to accurately extract and codify relevant terms, clauses, rent escalations, and critical dates.

  • Establish and maintain robust Quality Assurance (QA) standards for lease abstraction, performing detailed reviews of the team's work to ensure zero-defect data accuracy and compliance.

  • Collaborate directly with global business leaders to ensure timely, consistent, and accurate lease data management across all regions (NA, EMEA, APAC).

Process Optimization & Strategy

  • Drive the strategic development and continuous optimization of global lease abstraction processes, procedures, and best practice documentation to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for lease management systems (like MRI or similar SaaS platforms), contributing to the optimization and configuration of solutions to improve performance and productivity.

  • Work with global and local leadership to ensure consistency in approach across regions and provide strategic insights into regional and global lease management needs and risks.

  • Lead and execute special, high-priority lease-related projects, ensuring compliance with internal governance and external regulatory requirements.

Technical Expertise:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in lease abstraction, lease administration, or a related real estate/financial field, with a proven track record of managing complex agreements.

  • Strong experience with lease management software and SaaS offerings (such as MRI or similar platforms) is mandatory.

  • Expert-level proficiency in reviewing and interpreting complex legal lease language, including commercial, retail, and industrial leases, and identifying key financial and operational terms.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or team lead role is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor team members, fostering skill development and accountability.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills for working effectively with cross-functional and global leadership teams.

  • Highly detail-oriented with an uncompromising focus on quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

  • A Problem Solving, 'Can-do' Mindset and a strong client-centric focus.

  • Experience with other business SaaS offerings and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
