Substitute Grounds Worker I bei Kern County Superintendent of Schools

Under general supervision, to operate and maintain a variety of power grounds equipment; to perform complex grounds keeping maintenance and gardening functions and activities; and to do other related work as required.

•Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. •Experience: Must have working knowledge in the operation of grounds maintenance equipment and in the performance of semiskilled and skilled grounds maintenance, grounds keeping, and gardening work. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Pre-employment assessment/health screening, at office expense, is a condition of employment. Must maintain proof of privately owned automobile insurance and possess a valid California Motor Vehicle operator’s license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
