$35.35 - $45.96The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
FT position available, primarily days, Monday – Friday, 8 hour shifts.
A nursing opportunity to become part of a diverse and multidisciplinary radiation oncology team. A wider prospect to be a patient’s advocate, educator, and care-coordinator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Patient assessments, Patient education, Telephone triage, Care coordination, and assisting with variety of special exams. Must possess a positive attitude, flexibility, excellent assessment /critical thinking skills, strong interpersonal communication skills, and ability for autonomous decision making. Recent acute and/or oncology experience preferred. Some regional floating required for this position.
