The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $129,600 - $303,800 (Annual Rate).

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
- 10+ years of experience in gradually increasing strategic sourcing and supply chain management roles
- Very strong knowledge of sourcing policies, practices and state-of-the-art electronic sourcing systems
- Excellent negotiation skills and solid contract review ability
- Excellent knowledge of and expertise using proven negotiation methods; and the ability to critically analyze a negotiation
- Excellent ability to facilitate and build relationships with internal customers and external suppliers
- Strong information analysis, communication and business case development skills
- Excellent ability to apply expert business knowledge and comprehensive understanding of business-critical functions to integrate, forecast, and plan actionable strategies
- Excellent experience with cost modeling and related financial analyses
- Excellent ability to lead and advise cross-organization workgroups
- Excellent organization skills, including meeting facilitation and decision making
- Very strong customer service and interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate work with others, both internally and externally, to accomplish tasks
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills, listening, critical thinking and analytical skills
