Esports Advisor/Coach bei Huntingdon Area School District

HASD is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Esports Advisor/Coach to lead our high school esports program. The advisor will be responsible for organizing and coaching a competitive team environment focused on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic balance. Stipend of $600.00 for the season. 

Responsibilities include the following after school hours:

• Organize and supervise esports team practices, matches, and events 

• Provide coaching in gameplay strategy, communication, and teamwork

• Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful team culture

• Coordinate match schedules, equipment needs, and tournament participation

• Monitor student eligibility and academic progress

• Communicate with students, families, school administration, and league officials

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of competitive gaming platforms and titles (e.g., Rocket League, League of Legends, Overwatch, Valorant)

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to mentor students and promote academic and personal growth

• Prior coaching, advising, or esports experience preferred, but not required
