Independent Agent Training Specialist bei Firstacceptance

Overview

The Independent Agent (IA) Training Specialist is instrumental in the development and delivery of instructionally sound e-learning, web-based, virtual, self-guided and live instructor-led courses to introduce and promote our company, products, and processes to new and existing IAs, with a focus on getting the IA up to speed quickly to produce business.

Essential Job Functions

• Directs effective use of e-learning, web-based, virtual, self-guided and live instructor-led courses for new and existing IA’s.

• Collaborates in the design, development, and review of training materials to ensure familiarity with all content and ensure the content remains current with all system and procedural updates.

• Trains on current systems to help IAs successfully sell Acceptance products.

• Delivers training in virtual Zoom classroom environments.

• Rearranging or reorganizing training programs and/or schedules to meet appointment needs.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Insurance industry, and particularly with the IA distribution channel.

• Familiarity with various comparative raters like ITC, Vertafore, EZLynx.

• Familiarity with various training methods including self-study, group instruction, lecture format, demonstrations, simulation exercises, and computer-based learning.

• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems.

• Demonstrated facilitation skills in small and large group settings.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects or assignments and work within a given timeline for designed projects or assignments.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

• 2+ years’ experience training in related field

• The desire to “lean toward yes” first when presented with a suggestion or need.

• Confidence, urgency, and compassion in reaching out to leaders to discuss both positive and negative outcomes from training events.

Working Conditions:

• Corporate office environment. Hybrid and/or remote considerations give.

• Light travel required to include auto or air travel and overnight stays.
