Position Overview:

Under general supervision, installs and makes operational HVAC equipment and other appliances as required.  Performs preventive maintenance.  Performs basic HVAC repair coincidental with preventive maintenance, or installation of new equipment.

 Responsibilities:

• Install and make operational HVAC equipment and other appliances as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain good housekeeping, including maintenance of tools and equipment, and maintain required truck stock.
• Accurately apply Company billing and installation procedures.
• Maintain a positive customer service approach.
• Advises customers of and recommends Company products and services.
• Under direct supervision, performs basic HVAC repairs coincidental with preventive maintenance.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HVAC training from an accredited technical school is desirable.
• EPA certification is desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HVAC installation
• Experience as a lead installer with residential heating and cooling equipment is desirable.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to low.
