Description
The Clubhouse Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting environment in the clubhouse facilities. This role includes cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking various areas to ensure an exceptional experience for members, guests, and staff. This part-time position serves as a supplement to a third-party company contracted for many of the same activities during off-hours of the club’s operations. The position is particularly tasked with maintaining non-clubhouse buildings and providing essential touch-ups (incidentals) to the clubhouse during operational hours.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning & Maintenance: 
- Clean and sanitize golf course restrooms and maintenance building facilities, including employee break room.
 - Empty all wastebaskets in clubhouse and golf course restrooms, maintenance offices and breakroom.
 - Sanitize all clubhouse restrooms, locker areas, and high-touch surfaces daily including elevators as needed.
 - Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in all areas of the clubhouse, including conference room, locker rooms, restrooms, elevator, front entry area, bar and dining areas as needed.
 - Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and windows.
 
 - Restocking Supplies: 
- Replenish all restroom and locker room supplies, such as toiletries, towels, and paper products where needed.
 
 - Laundry Duties: 
- Collect, launder, and neatly fold towels, linens, or other washable items.
 
 - Event Readiness: 
- Assist in setting up and breaking down for club events as needed.
 - Ensure common areas are clean and presentable before and after events.
 
 - Safety & Compliance: 
- Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals according to provided guidelines.
 - Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the clubhouse manager promptly.
 
 - Other Duties: 
- Completes other assignments as deemed necessary made by the Director.
 
 
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
 - Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience is an asset.
 - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
 - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
 - Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
 - Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
 - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move objects up to 25 lbs.
 
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time schedule (approximately e.g., 20–25 hours per week).
 - Flexible hours depending on the club's operational needs.
