RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Support safety action plans and processes to meet the company's safety objectives.
- Provide assistance to the operations of the mine and to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Acquire and develop necessary background and operation environmental monitoring data.
- Modification and development of appropriate mining and reclamation plans.
- Monitoring of environmental controls for mine operations.
- Coordinate with State and Federal agencies on mining operations and permitting.
- Escort State and Federal Environmental Inspectors during site inspections.
- Assist in preparation and tracking environmental reporting such as required for TRI, SPCC Plans, SWPPP, etc.
- Ability to climb, stoop, bend, walk, and ride over uneven surfaces and lift > 50 pounds frequently.
