SAIC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated candidate to join our Corporate FP&A - Indirect Rates team. This position is responsible for the timely financial analysis, financial forecasting, and identification of actions for business performance improvements.  
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support FP&A with all financial planning, forecasting and analysis activities (AOP, quarterly, period close, strategic, indirect rates).
  • Prepare, evaluate, and distribute financial data and provide actionable recommendations to organization leaders.
  • Responsible for development of complex financial models to support indirect rate development.
  • Support DCAA audit requests.
  • Support proposals by providing financial guidance and preparing overhead rate build ups.
  • Maintenance of corporate and group allocation bases.
  • Perform period close reporting and variance analysis to various stakeholders.
  • Communicate regularly with the leadership team and assist in finance related operational activities.
  • Continuously evaluate current processes and make recommendations to improve financial forecasting, planning, and reporting.

  • Bachelors in finance or accounting discipline and a minimum of three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one (1) or more experience.
  • Proficient in Power BI.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Costpoint is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent oral and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop financial forecasts and explain variances to plan.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate independently as well as effectively establish solid working relationships with management and functional departments.
  • Candidate must be U.S. Citizen

    Knowledge of SAIC operations and processes.
