Product Engineer

We are searching for an experienced Product Engineer at our location in Bristol, IN. 

This role provides engineering support in the design and manufacture ofDexter Vent and Door components and products. It will provide technical support to Dexter Vent and Door Customers; OEM,Service Technicians, and end-users in specifying, installing, using,troubleshooting, and repair of the existing product applications. This role will also need to provide programming and maintenance of theTCM Product Configurator in the support of Dexter Door Products.

Qualifications & Experience 

Education Level: Associates Degree
Education Program/Area of Study: Engineering
Languages Required: English
6 months to 1-year related experience required
2-year Associate’s Degree or greater or a combination of education and experience.
Strong technical knowledge of the software, hardware, and systems they work with.
Must be able to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively with other teams, such as product management, sales, and customer support.
Ability to read and interpret schematics
Must be proficient in CAD

 Essential duties

Maintainthe TCM Product Configurator.
Createnew and maintain existing configured product lines.
Performitem maintenance by creating new part numbers for purchased and manufacturedparts.
PerformBill of Materials maintenance. 
Performfeatures and options maintenance.
Maintainthe rule-based configurator.
AssistDexter production by supplying and identifying the appropriate shop flooroperation comments used in shop order creation for the door schedules.
MaintainECN/ECR database.
Provide engineering support to the supportfunctions such as Quality, Materials, and Customer Service departments.
