Atlantic Health is Seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife in Summit, New Jersey
Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join the Atlantic Medical Group Women’s Health team at Overlook Medical Center. This full-time role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities on the Overlook Medical Center campus, which features a newly renovated maternity center and labor and delivery floor. The CNM will work closely with a collaborative team of board-certified obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, social workers, nutritionists, and nurses to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care within a growing service line
The Certified Nurse Midwife will perform patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and provide obstetric and gynecologic services, including labor management and delivery. Responsibilities also include community education, participation in practice management, and accurate completion of medical documentation and billing.
This is a full-time opportunity that requires the CNM to work full-time in the outpatient clinic, as well as a mandatory call requirement (1:5 weekday evening call, 1 weekend per month).

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) with a specialization in Midwifery
- Must be licensed as registered nurse (RN) or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board
- BLS certification required
- 2+ years of experience in woman’s health is required
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
