GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
    Supervise Third shift for both Safety Services and Transportation, patrol the grounds both at the Pines and the Springs, respond to EMS calls, and take care of other requests by other departments.
    
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 
    To perform the duties of Director of Safety Services (when he/she is not on property) which are as follows:
•    Patrol all properties
•    Investigate and keep records of all incidents.
•    Respond to alarms
•    Respond to medical calls
•    Handle the radio and assign tasks to staff as they come in
•    Train staff on the duties and responsibilities of their shift
•    Do daily register report.
•    Responsible for Gatehouse and Transportation during your shift
•    Do anything that is needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    The employee has the supervisory responsibility of employees.

QUALIFICATIONS
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    REASONING ABILITY 
    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
    This position does not require that the employee have Emergency Medical Tech. (EMT) certification. The employee must meet Woodloch’s required medical training and complete Woodloch’s Advanced First Aid/CPR Class.

It is also helpful if the employee meets the following vision requirements: color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), and peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point).

    Working at this job, the employee encounters the following conditions: working near moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and work with explosives. They also experience moderate noise level.
