The Shipping Manager oversees the daily operations of the shipping department to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective delivery of goods. This role is responsible for managing shipping schedules, supervising team members, coordinating with carriers, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and continuously improving shipping processes.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Experience: 2–4 years in shipping, logistics, or warehouse management.
  
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping procedures and regulations.
  
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with shipping software, ERP systems, and carrier platforms (e.g., UPS, FedEx, LTL freight systems).
  
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, assign tasks, train employees, and manage performance.
  
• Communication: Strong organizational and communication skills.
  
• Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with lean logistics or continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Forklift certification or experience with warehouse equipment.
  
• Bilingual (Spanish/English preferred).
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak periods.
  
• Ability to work under stress and time constraints
