Job Overview:

S2Tech is seeking experienced Regional Trainers to support the rollout of a Missouri Modernization project. These trainers will play a key role in ensuring the successful adoption of new systems and processes by delivering engaging, effective training to end users across the state. The Regional Trainers will work under the direction of the OCM and Training Lead and in collaboration with state and project leadership. The ideal candidates will be skilled communicators who thrive in both classroom and virtual environments, can adapt quickly to new technologies, and are comfortable supporting users through change.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions for staff across assigned regions
  • Facilitate hands-on learning for end users on new system functionality, business processes, and procedures
  • Conduct needs assessments and gather feedback to refine training materials and methods
  • Support development of training materials, quick reference guides, and eLearning modules in coordination with the central training team
  • Assist with scheduling, logistics, and participant communications for statewide training events
  • Provide one-on-one or small-group support during and after go-live as needed
  • Track attendance, learner engagement, and post-training feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with the Change Management team to align training with communications and stakeholder engagement efforts
  • Travel within the assigned region (and occasionally statewide) to conduct onsite training sessions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience delivering end-user or system training in a public-sector, IT modernization, or large organizational change initiative
  • Proven ability to lead classroom and virtual training sessions using tools such as MS Teams, Zoom, or Webex
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience developing or refining training materials (presentations, guides, job aids)
  • Ability to travel regionally (approximately 40–60%, depending on project phase)
  • Familiarity with state or local government operations, DMV systems, or customer service training preferred
