Your Role:
As a Project Manager at CEA CAPA, you’ll play a key role in bringing strategic initiatives to life across the organization. You’ll lead cross-functional efforts to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with our mission to empower students through transformative global education experiences. Reporting to the Head of the PMO, you’ll collaborate with teams across departments to drive integration, boost efficiency, and spark innovation—helping us work smarter and make a bigger impact.
What You’ll Do:
Project Management
- Lead projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring clear goals, defined deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to align project objectives with organizational strategy—especially in areas like tech platform development, process improvement, and integration of newly acquired entities.
- Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies—proactively resolving challenges and escalating when needed.
- Communicate project progress to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership and the Board.
Business Adoption & Training
- Implement and champion project management best practices, templates, and governance to promote consistency across initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative team culture that drives accountability and strong stakeholder engagement.
- Train stakeholders on the adoption of the system by providing onboarding and ongoing training of the PMO software.
PMO Software Maintenance
- Stay ahead of software updates and releases—implementing new features and training teams on improvements using internal and external resources.
- Partner with IT to manage escalated tickets and troubleshoot platform-related issues.
- Oversee user permissions and ensure access is appropriately maintained.
Starting Salary: $95,000
What Makes a Great Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with system implementations, process redesign, or M&A integrations strongly preferred.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- 5–7+ years of experience in project management, ideally in higher education, technology, or global operations
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s or PMP/Prince2 certification preferred)
- Project management certification
Competencies
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience reporting to senior executives.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of change management principles and ability to guide teams through organizational transitions.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable impact.
