THE ROLE:   

  • This position will report to the: Manager Plant Maintenance
  • Travel Requirement: None 
  • Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA
  • FLSA Status: Exempt  
  • Shift: 3rd shift - 10:00pm to 8:00am
  • Employment Category: Full Time - Regular    
  • Pay Range: $90,000 to $115,000

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE    

This job contributes to Evolution Fresh success by ensuring that plant equipment is repaired and maintained in a timely manner. Models and acts in accordance with Evolution Fresh guiding principles.

  • Models leadership behaviors that are grounded in Evolution Fresh Mission and Values
  • Drives the engagement, development, and performance of all members of their team
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies
  • Communicates maintenance plans and status across department lines
  • Serves as the technical expert, coach, and resource for plant maintenance partners
  • Coordinates and oversees maintenance of manufacturing and distribution equipment
  • Creates a collaborative and positive work environment
  • Ensures partner development and satisfaction, while providing timely performance feedback
  • Supports partners in presenting ideas for improving the efficiency and productivity of operations
  • Operates within established budgets, forecasts, cost objectives and service levels to control expenses
  • Supports implementation of cost, quality, and service improvement initiatives
  • Supports all established plant and manufacturing goals and objectives
  • Apprises manager of team progress and any obstacles
  • Understands and follows established safety guidelines, programs, and procedures; and actively works to prevent safety incidents
  • Works with plant safety committee to ensure best safety and maintenance practices are followed.
  • Supports food safety, legality, and quality programs
  • Maintains product quality through adherence to good manufacturing practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications and quality procedures
  • Performs other duties as needed in support of business objectives and Evolution Fresh Mission & Values


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR   

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High School/GED or one to three years’ experience in related field or combination of both education and experience
  • Supervision experience supporting maintenance or operations (3 years)
  • Automated manufacturing or distribution environment (5 years)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Previous experience working in a technical field, mechanical, electrical, or engineering strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with food safety regulatory requirements and global standards including Preventive Controls for Human Food (21 CFR 117) and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Experience with BRC or SQF certification schemes

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:    

  • O = Occasional (up to 25% of time) 
  • F = Frequent (26%-74% of time) 
  • C = Constant (75% or more of time)
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
