Medical Receptionist Lead

Position Overview: Effective coordination between the office manager and front desk staff with efficient and effective day to day operations in accordance with clinic policy and procedure to positively impact a patient’s overall plan of care from start to finish.
Status: Full Time
Hours: Flexible; Monday-Friday, 7:30am-6pm, 30 hours a week.
Travel: This position will require the ability to travel between clinics on occasion.
Responsibilities:
Oversight of Front Desk Receptionist:
- Maintain Front Desk Operations
- Maintain Front Desk Schedules
- Coordinate coverage for hours
- Create and Administer job training program for Front Desk staff
- Review staff dashboard
- Run weekly reports
- Complete and track Patient forms
- Complete Level 1 interviews
- Train new staff
- Complete Performance Reviews
Training and Professional Development:
- Investigate, review and retrain on errors of staff and track accordingly
- Effectively roll out new policies and procedures
- Promote Team Building
Scheduler Oversight:
- Monitor and maintain wait list
- Monthly communication with managers for staffing needs
- Review end of bonus period
- Monitor No shows and cancels
- Oversight of mass text alerts
General Receptionist Duties:
- Answer phones, check voicemail
- Review and respond to emails and tasks
- Front desk reports to be ran
- Therapists' schedules maintained/conflicts resolved appropriately
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
- Maintaining the daily front desk checklist
- Other daily front desk operations
- Must travel to multiple locations weekly
- Preform all assigned front desk responsibilities/sub-products
- Attend lead meetings, department meeting, and all staff meeting
Requirements:
- 1 year or more in the Healthcare setting
- Experience in leadership or management a plus
- Strong computer skills (proficient with Microsoft products)
